<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition containing a component effective for preventing and treating stress diseases including depression. <P>SOLUTION: The anti-stress composition comprises one or more kinds of fractions of (i) a solid fraction obtained by fraction operation of lily bulb, (ii) a soluble fraction obtained by fraction operation of lily bulb to give a liquid fraction, mixing the liquid fraction with a hydrophilic organic solvent to form a precipitate, reducing the concentration of the hydrophilic organic solvent in the mixed liquid obtained by the mixing and dissolving a part of the precipitate, (iii) an acid-soluble fraction obtained by mixing the fraction (i) with an acid and (iv) an alkali-soluble fraction obtained by mixing the fraction (i) with an acid to give an acid-insoluble fraction and mixing the acid-insoluble fraction with an alkali aqueous solution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
