POLYSACCHARIDE PIGMENT DISPERSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersion having excellent viscosity and settling stability to pH-sensitive FD&C and D&C pigments together with a good color value in relation to an aqueous pigment dispersion containing at least one FD&C and/or D&C pigment dispersed in water and a polysaccharide resin optionally in combination with a styrene-acrylic resin and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid.

SOLUTION: There is provided the aqueous dispersion containing (i) pigment selected from the FD&C and/or D&C pigment, (ii) polysaccharide resin, and (iii) water.
