PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inactivating or activating a nucleophilic receptor (NuR).

SOLUTION: There is provided a covalently reactive ligand analogue (CAL) which is a compound containing a constitution element unit of a ligand determinant comprising L1-Lx-Lm selected from the group consisting of an amino acid residue, a sugar residue, a fatty acid residue and a nucleotide, wherein the ligand determinant comprises a linker and a covalently reactive electrophilic group specifically reactive with the receptor.
