<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blowing device with a simple constitution specifying a place either a wall surface or a ceiling surface to be installed and the blowing device is capable of blowing to an appropriate direction according to an installation place even when using by purposes other than drying clothes. <P>SOLUTION: The blowing device body 1 installed on a wall surface or a ceiling surface in a dressing room 2 includes: a suction port for sucking air in the room; an exhaust port for blowing the sucked air from the suction port to the inside of the room; a fan 5 installed in a duct connected with the suction port and the exhaust port sucking air and blowing air to the inside of the room; a motor for driving the fan 5; a louver 7 for changing the blowing direction from the exhaust port; a louver motor for driving the louver 7; an installation place-specifying instrument for specifying either the wall surface or the ceiling surface regarding the place where the blowing device body 1 is installed.
