<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a plurality of light sources corresponding to side faces of one light guide plate alternately each other to prevent extraordinary horizontal emission lines in a display region and reduce a deviation of luminous distribution in the display region, and guarantee a picture quality. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes an image receiving part for receiving an image signal, an image processing part for processing the image signal received at the image receiving part, a display panel for displaying in an image the image signal processed by the image processing part, a plurality of light guide plates for emitting light to each display regions divided in the display panel, and a plurality of light sources arranged one by one along the side faces of each of the light guide plates and emitting light on the side faces of each of the light guide plates. An arrangement row formed by at least a part of the light sources out of the plurality of light sources corresponding to the side faces of one of the light guide plates is different from an arrangement row formed by at least a part of the light source out of the remaining light sources corresponding to the side face of the one of the light guide plates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
