<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white light color having a high color temperature, while simultaneously achieving high efficiency and high color rendering, in particular, to cause a color position within a tolerance ellipse determined for general illumination by the International Commission on Illumination (CIE). <P>SOLUTION: A material of fluorescent substance is provided. That absorbs blue color and/or a first emission of ultraviolet range, and emits a second emission of a yellow-green color, yellow color, or orange color range. The fluorescent substance is an alkaline-earth metal orthosilicate activated by bivalent europium and constructs at least one part of a grid.
