<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a distorted image from being formed in a projection type display device having a mirror which is not restored from deformation due to a change in temperature and humidity and due to an impact during transportation. <P>SOLUTION: The mounting structure of a reflector includes: a reflector 1 having a reflection surface 1a, a pair of first connection parts 11 provided on an end face of a reflector body 1 in which the reflection surface 1a is formed and having each first protrusion 21 formed in a substantially spherical shape at its edge, and a second connection part 12 provided on the end face of the reflector body 1 and installed at a position on which the pair of first connection parts 11 is symmetric; and a fixed member 3 having a pair of first supports 31 to be brought into contact with the edge of the first protrusion 21 by a planar contact part 321a, and a second support 32 supporting the second connection part 12. A distance from a connection part in the reflector body 1 of the first connection part 11 to the center of curvature of the first protrusion 21 in a direction perpendicular to the contact part 321a, is set so that the first protrusion 21 rolls on the contact part 321a when the reflector 1 is deformed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
