<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device which performs the read-out operation of a signal recorded on a signal recording layer formed on an optical disk. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup device is constituted so that the read-out operation of the signal recorded on the signal recording layer L of the optical disk D is performed with a laser spot generated via condensing operation of an objective lens 9 of laser light radiated from a laser diode 1 where a diffraction ring band 9B is formed on a plane 9 of the incidence of the objective lens 9 between a predetermined numerical aperture thereof and the maximum numerical aperture acting for forming the laser spot. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
