<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catechin composition reduced in distinct bitterness and/or astringency, to provide food and drink containing the catechin composition, and to provide a method for reducing bitterness and/or astringency of green tea-derived catechins. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided the catechin composition containing a green tea-derived catechin, at least two kinds of components originated in apricot kernel, γ-polyglutamic acid, and collagen peptide, the food and drink containing the catechin composition, and the method for reducing bitterness and/or astringency of green tea-derived catechins including mixing dry powder containing at least two kinds of components originated in apricot kernel, γ-polyglutamic acid, and collagen peptide into a green tea-derived catechin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
