<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing roll-like toilet paper that can obtain toilet paper hardly causing tears and holes in base paper in embossing formation and high in wet strength. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the roll-like toilet paper includes an embossing process P1 embossing long-sized base paper 2 delivered from a web roll 10, over the whole surface; a paper strengthening liquid spraying process P2 for delivering the embossed long-sized base paper 2 and spraying a paper strengthening liquid 4 containing a wet paper strengthening agent, to the long-sized base paper 2 from above or below a travel path of the long-sized base paper 2 to stick the wet paper strengthening agent to only one side of the long-sized base paper 2; and a winding process P3 for winding the long-sized base paper 2 with the wet paper strengthening agent stuck thereto into roll shape so that the surface of the side to which the wet paper strengthening agent is stuck is exposed to the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
