PURPOSE: A apparatus for monitoring postero-lateral of bicycle is provided to plan safety of the rider, and to progress safe group riding by checking the state of the rider following in behind in the group riding of club. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus(200) monitoring the postero-lateral of bicycle includes; sensing device(210) creating the monitoring information by sensing at least one among distance data and video data on the object locating in rearward or the lateral part of bicycle; and a display device(220) which at least indicates the monitoring information which becomes as described above among image and voice in the form of one. The sensing device includes sensor, the image data generate part, the monitoring information generator, and the communications unit. The monitoring information generator creates the monitoring information using the sensing information created and the video data. The communications unit receiving a message the monitoring information from the sensing device can be included.
