PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair that can cope widely with users' figures and likings. SOLUTION: The chair has a hole 11 on the rear end side from the position of 1/3 of the longitudinal length from the front end of a seat face part 10. The hole 11 is provided to include the position of 2/3 of the longitudinal length from the front end of the seat face part 10 and has a width dimension of 2/3 or more of the width dimension of the seat face part 10, and a plurality of air cells 70 are provided in the hole 11 so as to be arranged in a substantially horizontal direction to one another. The seat face part 10 is made of wood, and since the upper face of the seat face part 10 is 15°or higher by a JIS-A hardness meter, when a seated person is seated, the vicinity of the tuber ischiadicum is softly supported by each air cell 70, and the vicinity of both thighs of the seated person is supported by the front end side of the seat face part 10 to stabilize the position of both thighs of the seated person.
