PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolled paper holding device capable of eliminating necessity for component replacement according to the width of rolled paper and of easily and exactly setting the center of the width of the rolled paper at a fixed position even when the widths of rolled paper are different. SOLUTION: The rolled paper holding device is structured a space S between a semi-cylindrical first case 8 for rotatably storing a left half of rolled paper 5 and a semi-cylindrical second case 9 for rotatably storing a right half of rolled paper 5 is adjusted according to a width W of rolled paper 5 by slide operation of a space adjusting member 11. Accordingly, overall lengths L of both of the first case 8 and the second case 9 can be adjusted according to the width W of the rolled paper 5. Thus, necessity of replacing components according to the width W of the rolled paper 5 can be eliminated and even when the widths W of the rolled paper 5 are different, the center of the width W of the rolled paper 5 can be easily and exactly set at a fixed position.
