PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystalline polymer microporous membrane which shows excellent resistance to water, acid, chemical and alkalinity, high hydrophilic nature, long filtration life and high permeable flow rate, as well as a method for manufacturing the crystalline polymer microporous membrane which enables an efficient manufacturing of the membrane, and a filter using the crystalline polymer microporous membrane. SOLUTION: This crystalline polymer microporous membrane is characteristic in that the average pore diameter of the first surface is larger than the average pore diameter of the second surface, and further, a plurality of the pores show a continuous change in the average pore diameter taking place toward the second surface from the first surface. Further, at least a part of the exposed surface of the crystalline polymer micropore membrane, represents the crystalline polymer micropore membrane covered with an ethylene oxide polymer.
