PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary device provided on a yo-yo string, which is attached to the yo-yo string without impairing the function of the yo-yo string and allows a juvenile and even a beginner to easily pull back a yo-yo to a hand. SOLUTION: The auxiliary device provided on the yo-yo string 3 is configured to be attached to the yo-yo string 2 which is wound around the rotating axis 122 of the yo-yo 1 consisting of: a pair of rotating bodies 10, 60; and the rotating axis 122 turnably arranged in a main axis 26 disposed between the center parts of the pair of rotating bodies 10, 60. A device body 4 is formed in a pipe shape having an inner diameter 4a for permitting the put-through of the yo-yo string 2 and an outer diameter 4b smaller than a gap between the pair of rotating bodies 10, 60, has elasticity to be bent together with the yo-yo string 2, is slidable with respect to the yo-yo string 2, is kept at a prescribed position by frictional resistance, and is brought into contact with the side surfaces 18, 18 of the rotating bodies 10, 60 during rotation thereby to allow the yo-yo string 2 to be wound around the rotating axis 122.
