<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately control printing pressure by measuring it with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A bearing housing 7 that freely rotatably holds a rotary shaft 1a at both ends of a blanket roll 1 through a bearing is mounted on a gravity-canceling jack 8 installed on a trestle 4. A printing jack 10 mounted downward on a frame 9 installed on the trestle 4 is connected to the upper end of the bearing housing 7 through a printing pressure sensor 11. In a state where an upward thrust for canceling the load comprising sum of the gravity of the blanket roll 1, the bearing housing 7 and the bearing is constantly applied to the bearing housing 7 by the gravity-canceling jack 8, the blanket roll 1 is elevated/lowered together with the bearing housing 7 by the printing jack 10. When the blanket roll 1 is brought into contact with a plate 2 and a printing target 3 held on the moving table 6 with a prescribed printing pressure from above, the printing jack 10 is made to output only a thrust that corresponds to the prescribed printing pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
