摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a freedom of design by reducing the size of a power unit and by making a contour of the unit compact, in the power unit for a vehicle in which an internal combustion engine and a power transmission device are integrated and rear wheels as drive wheels are rockingly supported to a vehicle body. <P>SOLUTION: The power transmission device is formed of a V-belt type continuously variable transmission and a reduction gear connected to a rear axle. A shaft different from a rotating shaft of a starting clutch is provided between a drive pulley of the V-belt type continuously variable transmission provided on a crank shaft and the starting clutch provided on the rotating shaft of the reduction gear to support a driven pulley of the V-belt type continuously variable transmission. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
