<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fusing member that increases the efficiency of an induction heating member and shortens the warm-up time. <P>SOLUTION: The fusing member 100 includes a substrate 110, a heating layer 130 arranged on the substrate 110, and a surface layer 140. The heating layer 130 contains carbon nanotube and metal, and the surface layer 140 contains hydrophobic polymer with a surface free energy lower than 22 mN/m.
