PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the dispensation precision of the liquid from a hermetically closed type liquid holding container without increasing the diameter of a probe. SOLUTION: The dispensing device includes a sample pump, the sampling probe 3 connected to the sample pump to suck and discharge a liquid sample 205, a washing solution discharge nozzle 209 for washing the sampling probe 3 and a computer for controlling the sample pump and the sampling probe 3. The computer executes a first process for discharging a set amount of the liquid sample 205 to the sample pump and a second process for allowing the washing solution discharge nozzle 209 to wash the tip part of the sampling probe 3 during a period when the liquid sample 205 of a sample container 101 is sucked into the sampling probe 3 and the sampling probe 3 is pulled out of the sample container 101 to dispense the liquid sample 205 to a reaction container 5.
