PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional apparatus, wherein it takes time for removing filming dirt on a photoreceptor surface and the photoreceptor surface is damaged by excessive scratches of the photoreceptor. SOLUTION: A printer 1 for developing images by sticking toner to an electrostatic latent image forming position on the photoreceptor surface includes a cleaning member 32 for removing filming particles 40 deposited and remaining on the photoreceptor surface.
