PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide upright pile fabric having a combination of softness, flexibility, hygroscopicity and antistaticity. SOLUTION: The upright pile fabric is provided, being such that: each of fibers composing the piles is a conjugate filament with the core and the sheath composed of a polyester and ethylene-vinyl alcohol respectively. In the upright fabric, the hygroscopicity is 7% or greater at 30°C×90% RH, and the moisture absorption/release parameter (ΔMR) is 1% or greater. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
