PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid fertilizer having high fertilizer effects to plants and being excellent in the healthy growth of plants, especially the initial growing action of plants. SOLUTION: The liquid fertilizer is characterized by including organic nitrogen extracted from soil or an organic fertilizer and inorganic nitrogen derived from a compound fertilizer. It is preferable that the content of the organic nitrogen in the liquid fertilizer is 0.001-1 wt.% and the weight ratio of the organic nitrogen to the inorganic nitrogen is 1:30-10:1.
