PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate instable feeling and lateral shake when a shoe is worn and further to surely amplify impetus in walking or running. SOLUTION: The shoe 1 for reinforcing impetus has the same basic structure as an ordinary shoe having a shoe body 2 and a sole 3. In the heel of the sole, an impact absorbing unit 4 is incorporated as a means for absorbing impact and, in the front part thereof, a means 5 for controlling directional change and transmission of the impetus is incorporated. In the further front part, an impetus amplifying unit 6 which is located in the lower part of the metatarsal bone of the foot and serves as a means for amplifying the impetus, in incorporated.
