PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light diffusion sheet which dramatically enhances the efficiency of taking light out and improves the angle dependency of colors emitted from a plane surface of an illuminator and can achieve white light in high quality, and to provide an organic electroluminescent element employing the light diffusion sheet. SOLUTION: This light diffusion sheet is formed with a light diffusion layer having particles and resin on a substrate, and the light diffusion layer includes a plurality of lenticular convex parts formed by covering the particles over the resin, and a refractive index n3of the particle and a refractive index n2of the resin satisfy a relation of (1): 0.07≤n2-n3≤0.30.
