<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a γ-aminobutyric acid-containing food product in which effects of inhibiting an autonomic nervous activity associated with a rise in blood pressure are obtained with immediate effects. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the γ-aminobutyric acid-containing food product containing the γ-aminobutyric acid in an amount so as to provide the effects of inhibiting the autonomic nervous activity associated with the rise in the blood pressure with the immediate effects. That is, the effects of inhibiting the autonomic nervous activity (including sympathetic nerve and parasympathetic nerve) associated with the rise in the blood pressure are obtained with the immediate effects by orally administering vegetable grains 1A composed of organically grown kales, and ingesting at least 30 mg of the γ-aminobutyric acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
