<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the end of a rotation shaft of each image holder from get caught in a rotation shaft insertion hole of an image holder, which is formed in the openable/closable door of an image forming apparatus, when the rotation shaft is inserted into the rotation shaft insertion hole, thereby supporting each of the image holders. <P>SOLUTION: The support shaft insertion hole 63 of a door support mechanism 60 has the shape of an ellipse that is long in the direction of gravity when the space is closed. When an opening 46 is closed by rotating a first support plate 70, the first support plate 70 is moved downward, as shown in Fig.9(b), thereby locating an insertion part 3B beyond the first rotation shaft insertion hole 72. Then, as shown in Fig.9(c), the first support plate 70 is pulled upward by a positioning mechanism 90A. Thus, when the first support plate 70 (front door 50) is closed, the insertion part 3B of the rotation shaft 3A is prevented from getting caught in the first rotation shaft insertion hole 72. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
