<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an elastic roller that prevents roughness formed by foam on a surface of a foam elastic layer, and by which roller high-quality electrophotographic images are formed. <P>SOLUTION: The method is used for manufacturing the elastic roller including: a shaft core 2; and the foam elastic layer 3 around the shaft core 2. The method includes: a step of forming a composite layer with a specific silicone oil, silicone gel agent, carbon black, and reactive catalyst around the shaft core; and a step of forming the foam elastic layer by making the composite layer freely foam and curing the composite layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
