<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a phenomenon in which a liquid crystal display panel is curved due to shrinkage of a polarizing plate in a uniaxial stretch direction, when the polarizing plate stuck to the liquid crystal display panel is subjected to temperature rise. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel is formed as a flexible display in which both a TFT substrate 100 and a counter substrate 200 are formed thin. The counter substrate 200 and the polarizing plate 30 are fixed to each other at one point with an adhesive 33. The polarizing plate 30 shrinks in the uniaxial stretch direction when subjected to temperature rise, however, as the polarizing plate 30 and the counter substrate 200 are fixed to each other at the one point, the counter substrate 200 is not curved by the shrinkage of the polarizing plate 30. As the TFT substrate 100 and a lower side polarizing plate which is not shown in the figure are also fixed to each other at one point, when subjected to temperature rise, the TFT substrate 100 is not curved when shrinkage of the polarizing plate in the uniaxial stretch direction occurs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
