<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome problems of a conventional post-processing device wherein, when the curl of a recording sheet is large, the recording sheet cannot be inserted into the opening of a stapler and rides on the upper part of the stapler, and resultant pages missing. <P>SOLUTION: This post-processing device includes an end wall abutting on the rear end of a sheet supplied to a compiling tray and a paddle which is installed near the end wall and moves the sheet supplied to the compiling tray to the end wall. The paddle includes a first blade member in which a plurality of elastic blades for moving the sheet to the end wall are disposed at equal intervals in the circumferential direction and a third blade member in which rigid blades and elevation brushes for inserting the sheet into the opening of the stapler are disposed, near the stapler, at generally equal intervals in the circumferential direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
