DATA RELAY DEVICE AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data relay device that prevents communication traffic of a receiving side so that a normal communication state is not falsely determined abnormal in the receiving side.

SOLUTION: The data delay device stops relaying the contents of data transmitted to the communication bus 1 by transmission equipment 11 connected with a communication bus 1 to a communication bus 2 different from the communication bus 1 when a predetermined condition is established. The data relay device includes: a transmitting means 35 for transmitting to the communication bus 2 the information that enables receiving equipment 12 that is connected with the communication bus 2 to recognize the reason why the contents of data transmitted by the transmission equipment 11 are not relayed according to the occurrence of a predetermined event.
