<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic pen wherein drawing performance is maintained even when the electronic pen is used for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: In the electronic pen device 10, an electronic pen 11 has: an electromagnetic wave transmission means; and a transmission part including an ultrasonic wave transmission means. A reception part 12 includes: an electromagnetic wave reception means; at least two ultrasonic wave reception means; and a data processing means calculating an ultrasonic wave propagation time until an ultrasonic wave reaches the ultrasonic wave reception means from the ultrasonic wave transmission means. A data processing apparatus 14 calculates a distance between the ultrasonic wave transmission means and the ultrasonic wave reception means, calculates a position of the electronic pen 11, and displays the position of the electronic pen 11 on an image display device 13. The ultrasonic wave reception means is disposed on a display face side of the image display device 13, and can move relatively to the image display device 13 by a movement means 15.
