PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve diagnostic efficiency in an image diagnostic image for displaying a plurality of images with respect to a subject. SOLUTION: A first slice image S1 is transparently displayed so as to correspond to a transmittance set by a first transmittance setting unit 324a, and a second slice image S2 is transparently displayed so as to correspond to a transmittance set by a second transmittance setting unit 324b. The first slice image S1 and the second slice image S2 are superimposed and displayed so as to correspond to a position set by a superimposing position setting unit 324c. For example, the first slice image S1 generated in the past with respect to an affected site of the subject and the second slice image S2 generated newly with respect to the affected site of the subject are mutually superimposed and transparently displayed.
