PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user recognize that a signal is in a reception level or below, where the cause of video breakdown or the like, is removable due to booster adjustment or the like. SOLUTION: A reception-state presenting device includes a reception level detection unit for detecting a reception level of a signal inputted into a digital tuner to output information on the reception level; a decoding error detection unit for detecting a decoding error based on a processing result of decoding processing to a stream from the digital tuner to output decoding error information; a storage unit for storing the information on the reception level and the decoding error information; and a control unit for determining a reception level which is lower than a prescribed threshold to be an adjustment error, regardless of the decoding error information, wherein it is determined as being an adjustment failure or an equipment failure, based on the information on the reception level and the decoding error information.
