PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembling jig for an ink jet head which can simply and accurately tighten the ink jet head to a head plate, and to provide an assembling method of the ink jet head. SOLUTION: The assembling jig for the ink jet head 1 for fixing the ink jet head 1 inserted in an opening in a positioning state to the head plate 10 formed with the opening includes a setting table 21 for setting the head plate 10, a head support plate 23 for holding the ink jet head 1 sat on the opening edge of the opening from the upside, a positioning frame 24 which supports the head support plate 23 at an end part and is set movably on the setting table 21, and a vacuum suction part 25 which vacuum sucks the positioning frame 24.
