PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus provided with a heat dissipation part at the upper part of an apparatus body. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: the apparatus body 11 in the inside of which a heat dissipation component 20 is arranged; and the heat dissipation part 14 formed at the upper part of the apparatus body 11. The heat dissipation part 14 has: a recess 21 provided to the upper part of the apparatus body 11; and a blocking plate 22 which is attached to block the recess 21. A space part 23 is formed between the recess 21 and the blocking plate 22. A vent hole 26 which communicates the inside of the apparatus body 11 and the space part 23 is formed in the recess 21. A heat dissipation hole 38 which communicates the space part 23 and the outside is formed on the blocking plate 22.
