PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker that uses a face plate for building configured to be effectively vibrated by a vibrator and to facilitate replacement of the vibrator in future repair or maintenance. SOLUTION: On the back surface side of the vibrator 3, a vibrator fixing material 5 is provided through an elastic vibration absorbing material 4. By fixing the fixing material 5 to the face plate 2 for building, the vibration absorbing material 4 is held and compressed between the fixing material 5 and the vibrator 3, and the vibrator 3 is attached to the back surface part of the face plate 2 for building in a close contact state while being elastically pressed in a non-adhesion state by a restoration force. It is preferable that the vibrator 3 is detachable while the fixing material 4 is kept fixed to the back surface side of the face plate 2 for building by utilizing the elasticity of the vibration absorbing material 4.
