PURPOSE: A carrier tape lint removing method is provided to remove efficiently and economically a carrier tape by using a laser. CONSTITUTION: In a carrier tape lint removing method, a laser is projected into a reception hole(4) in zig-zag type which is formed by two virtual lines which is parallel with the traveling direction of a carrier tape. The laser is projected to remove nap while the carrier tape is transferred.
