<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the consumption of an excessive power by suppressing unnecessary cranking by accurately determining the completion of the start of an engine when it is necessary to start the engine in such a case that a hybrid vehicle is put in a deceleration state. <P>SOLUTION: The hybrid vehicle for output of power generated by an engine and a motor generator through a power transmission mechanism to a driving shaft includes: an engine rotational speed detector for detecting the rotational speed of the engine; and a decision means for, when the engine rotational speed of the engine detected by the engine rotational speed detector is larger than a set rotational speed when the state of the engine is in a start process and the hybrid vehicle is in a deceleration state, determining that the start process has been completed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
