<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method of cancer in a mammal that is characterized by overexpression of an ErbB receptor, and does not respond or poorly responds to treatment using an anti-ErbB antibody. <P>SOLUTION: A therapeutically effective amount of a conjugate of an anti-ErbB receptor antibody and a maytansinoid is administered to the mammal. Further, a product suitable for using this method is provided.
