PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric water pump with action performance and durability improved. SOLUTION: The electric water pump includes a stator which generates a magnetic field by a control signal applied from outside, a rotator which rotates by the magnetic field generated by the stator, a pump cover which includes a cooling water entrance and a pressurized cooling water exit, a front face which forms a vortex chamber between the pump cover, a stator chamber which is formed on the outer periphery and on which the stator is mounted, a body which is formed on the inner periphery of the stator chamber and includes a rotator chamber where the rotator is mounted, a shaft which is equipped with a central axis, rotates with the rotator, and is mounted on the rotator chamber, and an impeller which rotates with the shaft, pressurizes the cooling water, and is mounted to the vortex chamber. The shaft is divided into a first shaft arranged at the front and a second shaft arranged at the back and the first shaft and the second shaft are connected with each other by the rotator.
