PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid jetting apparatus capable of performing the cleaning (flushing) operation by a simple constitution in a short time. SOLUTION: Two protrusions (cover heads) 29 and 29 are formed in an attachment plate 22 of a head unit 2. These protrusions 29 and 29 protrude, for example, from a nozzle surface 23 which defines opening ends of nozzles 24 that constitute recording heads 21A-21E towards a jetting direction H of the fluid. The protrusions are comprised of riblike members extended along a nozzle array L in an extension direction. A region sectioned by these two protrusions (cover heads) 29 and 29 constitutes an accommodation part 39 for accommodating an absorbing member at a retreat position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
