PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical parking device which is hardly causes a trouble in the loading and unloading of the other vehicle in order to charge an EV vehicle. SOLUTION: The mechanical parking device of a pallet type includes: pallets (20, 20-1, 20-2) for loading the vehicles; a plurality of parking spaces for storing the pallets; a pallet drive device which horizontally moves each of the pallets independently in the plurality of parking spaces; and charging equipment having a power feeding device 70 for charging a storage battery mounted in the electric vehicle. A control device comprising the pallet drive device throughout a time when the charging equipment charges the storage battery mounted in the electric vehicle, executes control so as to make the vehicles on the other pallets loaded and unloaded.
