PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve rapid and reliable resetting and restoration of a monitoring device on a network as rapid recovery handling is required when operation of the monitoring device stops due to any abnormality. SOLUTION: Using an Ethernet controller adapted to WOL, a WOL signal outputted from the controller is used as a reset signal so that the monitoring device can be reset irrespective of an operation state of software of a microcomputer.
