PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine for preventing decrease of expectation of a performance of establishing jackpot while increasing a ratio of setting conditions for carrying out the performance of establishing jackpot. SOLUTION: It is controlled so that decorative symbols form a ready-to-win state when a character A owns 50,000 points or more only in the case that a jackpot occurs. When start prize winning occurs, it is determined whether the jackpot occurs before fluctuation display is started based on the start prize winning. When it is determined that the jackpot occurs, it is controlled so that the character A owns 50,000 points or more before the fluctuation display based on the start prize winning. Thereby, it is possible to prevent the character A from gaining a large quantity of points during the fluctuation display leading to the jackpot so that a player does not feel that a game result is determined from the start.
