PURPOSE: A slab transformation detecting device is provided to improve productivity and reduce a failure rate by controlling continuous casting operation condition. CONSTITUTION: A slab transformation detecting device comprises a traverse direction marker member(10) and a marker moving member(20). The traverse direction marker member is arranged between the guide rolls for guiding the transferring of a slab. The marker moving member reciprocates the marker member in the width direction of a slab. The traverse direction marker member includes a movable part(11), connected to the marker moving member, and a first marker part which is combined with the movable part to rotate in the width direction of a slab. The traverse direction marker member comprises a first spring part(13). One side of the first spring part is connected to one side of the first marker part, and the other end is connected to the movable part. The first marker part includes the first marker part which is connected the movable part using a hinge to rotate in the width direction of a slab.
