<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system that selects a print control device or a printer for decision of a paper feed unit, according to the content of processing required for a print job. <P>SOLUTION: The print system provided with a printer provided with a plurality of paper feed units and the print control device which generate print data for printing in the printer includes: a state acquisition means which acquires a state of each paper feed units of the printer; a first paper feed unit determination means which determines the paper feed unit in the print control device, based on the state of each paper feed unit acquired by the state acquisition means and the attribute of the print data; a second paper feed unit determination means which determines the paper feed unit in the print control device, based on the state of each paper feed unit acquired by the state acquisition means and the attribute of the print data; and a switching means which selects the first paper feed determination means or the second paper feed unit determination means for determination of the paper feed unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
