<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing manganese sulfate and zinc sulfate from waste batteries containing manganese and zinc. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to a method for producing manganese sulfate and zinc sulfate from waste batteries containing manganese and zinc, and more specifically to a method for producing manganese sulfate and zinc sulfate from waste batteries containing manganese and zinc which is characterized in that manganese sulfate and zinc sulfate are simultaneously produced by carrying out a continuous leaching process, thereafter adding zinc powder and activated carbon to the obtained leachate to remove heavy metals (nickel and cadmium) and organic substances, and thereafter spray-drying. According to the invention, highly pure manganese sulfate and zinc sulfate are produced by a simple process without generating waste water. Further, an environment-friendly recycle process of waste batteries can be provided without using additional chemical substances for neutralization correctitude and impurity removal since manganese sulfate and zinc sulfate are recovered by leaching waste battery powder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
