<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine capable of carrying out sewing control without limiting a pattern formed on an object to be sewn in using a large-sized bobbin that can be wound with a large amount of string-like member. <P>SOLUTION: The bobbin wound with the string-like member is supported by a support member arranged above a sewing machine table rotatably around the axis of a needle bar as the approximate center so as not to impede the movement of an embroidery frame. The bobbin can thereby be arranged in a position distant from a sewing machine head to permit enlargement of the bobbin. The support member is controlled in its direction following the rotation control of a rotation body by a drive source. When the support member is rotated around the axis of the needle bar as the approximate center following the rotation of the rotation body, the bobbin itself revolves around the sewing machine head to guide the string-like member always appropriately into a needle base position. Since there is no risk of the string-like member being wound and twined around the sewing machine head, the string-like member can be sewn without limiting the pattern formed on the object to be sewn. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
