摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell that has an upper electrode and a lower electrode that are prevented from short-circuiting via an organic thin-film electromotive force layer. <P>SOLUTION: An insulating layer 2 is provided on a metal foil 1, and a plurality of lower electrodes 3 formed of thin films are provided mutually on the insulating layer 2, with a separation interval inbetween. Organic thin-film electromotive force layers 4 are provided on the lower electrodes 3, and upper electrodes 5 formed of thin films are provided thereupon. Each of the upper electrodes 5 is connected to one end of the adjacent lower electrode 3. An auxiliary electrode 6 is provided on the upper electrode 5. A sealing material 7 is arranged in a frame shape at a peripheral edge of the metal foil 1. A sealing material 8 exists in an inner region of the sealing material 7.
