<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor switching device including a mechanism capable of preventing electrostatic discharge damage even after assembling. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor switching device includes: a switching element; a gate terminal 1 and an emitter signal terminal 2 for external control connection of the switching element; a gate metal pattern (bar) wired from the switching element to the gate terminal 1; and an emitter metal pattern (bar) wired from the switching element to the emitter signal terminal 2.
